last day of november

damn its SO COLD

went to Grevin museum today...its like a wax figure museum...it took like 20 mins to see the whole thing haha.

ate at Eric Kayser's boulangerie. yummiest sandwich and all it was-was a baguette (parfait in every way), butter, and a few slices of cheese and ham. the baguette sandwiches here are so funny. they hardly contain and meat (so different from the American generous portions) but the baguette itself makes up for everything!! i will truly miss eating sandwiches with like nothing in them!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh.

still cant believe i have only 3 weeks left... :( :(

its crazy how fast time flies by
its crazy how easy it is to take things for granted
its crazy how things are always changing, but how some people never change (for good or bad)

#31

Ferris wheel at Concorde, hipstamatic, taken by moi
I've been in Paris for almost 3 months and I only have 31 posts...tsk tsk.
The rain stopped for the most part last week but began again saturday night. SOO COLLDDDDDD. and since it gets dark so early I hate doing anything outside. hmmp.

I officially have exactly 1 month left in this city. What is left for me to do? This city has started to become my home and I feel like I am getting lazy about doing things...BUT you all know I'll do something about it!

It's exam week at school so we basically have the whole week off! I have internships all week so the only days I have off are Thursday (Turkey day!!) and Saturday! I'll be on set of a tv program tomorrow--something about Michael Jackson, Friday is a makeover party at the Gap (yeah Americain!), and Sunday is another defile (fashion show)! I guess they are trying to have us 3 monthers get the most out of our time left at the school!

I still haven't bought flowers here yet for myself. I was hoping visitor #1 & #2 would have bought me flowers but those boys are SLOW~~~~haha.

I have so much shopping to do before I leave! Gifts for all (unless I end up eating it all before). I plan on buying teas, soaps, chocolates, & a couple of wines.

Speaking of wines...I've been a serious wino. I drink 1/2-1 bottle a night about a few times a week....hehe it's the best when the weather outside is cold!!

more updates to come

My estage (internship) on monday was at the MCB (mondial coiffure beaute) which is a big hair show with vendors like l'oreal, kerastase, redken etc etc

we worked backstage for Schwarzkopf which my mom actually uses in her salon so I was super excited!!

I didn't have a camera or my iphone on me so no pictures....for now!

HAPPY 11/11

JEUDI MORNING RANDOMS ROUND 1: CARREFOUR EDITION

look at what I woke up to this morning...the skies here amaze me everyday despite the ugly rain

the yaourt aisle. never ceases to amaze me. why don't we have this in the us???

I'm counting down the days to when the beaujolais wines come out....oh la la

jour d'armistice

it's a holiday today so that means no school & the supermarket closing early! thank goodness I got my lazy self out of bed !!

expect lots of updates this week/weekend...muhaha.

je suis desolee

I fooking suck at updating this thing.
I think it's mostly cause I know no one reads it and I'm too lazy to write out everything...whyyyy?

Anyways, Octobre (no that isnt a spelling mistake) was an amazing month for me. My brother came for three weeks. I saw him launch his magazine at Colette with Larry Clark, I had someone to go to cafes & eat crazy delicious things with, and we reflected on how far we've both come considering this has been both of our dreams for so long.

After my brother left, my boyfriend came during my much needed holiday from school. Low and behold, on the third day he was here he proposed to me in front of the Eiffel Tower. I'm not very good with sappy moments, but if I could go back I would have screamed and did the whole jumping up thing (and worn a cuter outfit hehe).
et voila! the ring!

I'm screaming with joy inside right now...but once again I am alone. I have a little over a month left here in good ol' Paris, and I hope to eat and see as many things. I just hope it doesn't rain too much!!!
